The Road Ahead…

Coming up soon,  this year’s adventure road trip will take us around the great state of California. Starting with a long flight all the way to SFO, a few days at our home base, and then off to a 3+ week of nothing but road, and side stops. I have a list of about 100+ things that I want to do and see along the way…

We’ll start in San Francisco, and then the road will take us to:

• Sacramento,
• Yosemite National Park,
• Death Valley National Park,
• Las Vegas,
• Mojave desert,
• Joshua Tree National Park,
• Palm Springs,
• Los Angeles,
• Malibu,
• Carmel,
• Monterrey,
• Back home to SF

And I plan to at least cover the following bucket-list items:

• 30. Ride in a hot air balloon
• 31. Go on a helicopter ride
• 37. Race a sports car
• 89. Visit The Grand Canyon,
AZ
• 92. Travel around San Francisco in the cable car, CA
• 93. See the Golden Gate Bridge in San Francisco, CA
• 94. Go to Universal Studios, Hollywood, CA
• 96. Visit Hollywood walk of fame, CA
• 120. Drive on Route 66
• 121. Drive down highway 101 (west coast highway)
• 127. Climb to the top of a volcano

For extra bonus points, I plan to do this all with one carry-on luggage. I want to travel light and be free…
